Description
I’m a New York native learning how to live in a Midwest city and having a great time. I moved out to Chicago about a year ago to pursue a career in finance and explore a new city. You can usually find me at the gym after work or at dinner with friends reminiscing about sitcoms from the late 80s. I also enjoy playing beach volleyball and softball or heading to watch a good movie (some favorites include Wedding Crashers and Gladiator). When I do get some quiet time, I try picking up books that deepen me spiritually or give me a new perspective on how to see life through another person’s eyes. I am also looking forward to traveling more in the near future. In particular, I want to visit Asia and learn more about my past as well as explore other cultures in the region. Thankfully Chicago has all the amenities of New York like good ethnic restaurants, which I try to visit as often as I can. The few things I do miss are my family, old friends, and New York style pizza. In all honesty, I have a rewarding, but demanding career that does not afford me with the ability to "date" around. The bar and club scenes are definitely not the place where I want to find my soulmate. I'm more interested in finding someone to have a deep and commited relationship, someone who will inspire/challenge/deepen me both intellectually and spiritually. Realizing this takes time, I'm not naive enough to think it will happen overnight or over coffee, but would hope that there would be some chemistry after a few dates. If not, hopefully we've shared some good meals, a couple of thought provoking conversations, and hearty laughs. Cheers
